Happy Halloween! - The Halloween Tag!

Happy Halloween everyone! I was planning on putting up my October Favourites today, but as it is halloween, I thought I would do something a little bit different!

The halloween tag consists of 10 questions about your thoughts on halloween! I tag everyone to do this before halloween is over!

1) What is your favourite Halloween Movie?
My favourite halloween movie is either the Addams family or Monster House.  I watch these films every year without fail and they really get me into the halloween spirit.  The Addams family is now on Netflix so catch it before it goes!

2) If you were in a horror movie, how far would you get?
I would probably get quite far because I would avoid all the stupid things that people do in horror movies, for example, staying in a house where there is quite clearly something sinister going on, going to investigate strange noises and not running when you have the chance to.  I would like to think that I could outsmart the demons and come out the other side!

3) What is your favourite memory of halloween?
I always loved decorating the house, dressing up, eating sweets and I was (and admittedly still am) obsessed with watching young dracula every day leading up to halloween without fail!

4) How do you get into the halloween spirit?
Watching halloween movies and tv programmes always gets me in the halloween spirit.  Decorating the house also makes everything feel spooky and I love it!

5) Favourite halloween decoration?
That is difficult for me! I love the black and orange door curtain we hang on the kitchen door because it looks so cool and I love to run through it.  I also love the little graveyard that I always build outside of our house and I love draping fake cobwebs everywhere!

6) Name one unusual thing you are afraid of?
I'm not really scared of anything unusual, just the generic fear of spiders and I don't really like blood either but its not really unusual.

7) vampires or zombies?
Vampires because they are better looking and I would rather suck peoples blood than eat their brains. You could also communicate with a vampire and reason with them, whereas zombies just grunt and then carry on and eat your brains.  I think vampires are so cool, I would love to be one.

8) Werewolves or ghosts?
Ghosts because they scare me more and I find them more interesting!

9) creepy dolls or creepy clowns?
Definitely creepy dolls because clowns freak me right out!

10) Do you believe in ghosts?
I don't know really, I haven't seen any but I have had quite a few strange and unexplained things happen and I have heard lots of stories from people I trust so I wouldn't really like to say.  It's a very controversial topic and people have lots of different opinions on it.

I hope you all have an amazing halloween, be sure to send me pictures of your costumes and if you do/have done this tag, leave a link in the comments!

The Sugar Skull Halloween Makeup ❤

Seeing as I put up my other 2 halloween makeup looks yesterday, I thought I would put this one up as a cheeky little bonus post for you lovely people.  This look is slightly harder to create than the other two and is a bit more time consuming, but if you have the time to sit and perfect this look, the end result will be well worth it.  I have to admit, I rushed this look like hell because we had an hour to get ready and in that time, I had to do the sugar skull, then my sisters hair and makeup, then my hair and makeup and I had to get changed so I did it as fast as I possibly could! Given the time that I had, I am quite pleased with it!

To start off, I painted her face white! The face paint she had wasn't brilliant, so I ended up adding to it with my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk to make the colour a little more opaque.  I then set this with a white eyeshadow because it was quite sticky and would have been hard to work on.  Then for all the black parts on the face, I used a really old liquid liner from NYC, purely because it has a really thick brush and I struggle to use it on my eyes! I drew rings around her eyes and filled them in, drew the petals around the eyes, added a few freckles to the cheeks, drew a line through her lips and drew in teeth so it was similar to a skull, drew a little triangle on her nose and then her chin was looking a bit bare so I added a little circle, some spirals and some dots, and also a little cobweb on her forehead.  Wow that was a long sentence! Then I went over all the black and set it with a black eyeshadow so that it remained black and didn't budge.  All of the circles that I didn't fill in, I went in with red face paint as there was red in her costume.  I then obviously set that with a bright red blush.

That completes this look, I was pleased with the end result, apart from the fact my makeup brushes were full of face paint and I had to deep clean them afterwards! As I said yesterday, if you recreate this look or take inspiration from it, be sure to send me a picture!

My Last Minute Halloween Makeup Look - Suitable For Any Outfit!

Picture of me and my sister at the halloween party!

It's that time of year again! With halloween fast approaching, I know many of you are scrambling round trying to find a costume at the last minute.  If you are looking for a pretty universal, simple and quick makeup look you have come to the right place!

My Makeup Look:-
I started off with the palest, full coverage foundation to give me that flawless, porcelain, doll like complexion.  I used my Mac Studio Fix Fluid in the shade NW10 for this. To give me a bit of an under eye highlight and down the bridge of my nose, I used my Garnier Anti-Dark Circle Roller in the shade fair and this helped to make my features look more sharp and defined.

To contour, I used the grey shade from my Sleek Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palette (marked with a bat) so that my face was all cool toned and my features looked more prominent.  This helped to make me look a little bit more dead!  Onto eyes, I used only one shadow for the whole eye look! I took the dark matte purple from the same palette, and packed that all over my lid and then blended it through the crease with a fluffy brush.  I also blended it on my lower lash line and really smoked it out.  I then chose to do a dramatic winged liner using my Rimmel Glameyes Liquid Eye Liner and used my Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Liner on a definer brush to smoke out the wing and to also darken my waterline and tight line, which again was smoked out.  Then I went in with lashings of my SEVENTEEN Falsifeye HD Mascara to make my lashes really dramatic, and at the last minute, I decided to add some thick and glamourous falsies (not pictured).

To finish off the look, I lined my lips with the same pencil eye liner and blended it out, and then applied an Avon Lipstick in the shade Earthy Plum, which has unfortunately been discontinued, but there are many deep burgundy lipsticks around at the moment so it won't be too difficult to find something similar.

Seeing as my sister is in the picture, I will go through her look as well as it is so simple, there are only a few steps.  She went as a zombie cheerleader, but this is quite a generic dead look so would go with any outfit and is suitable for everyone.

My sister has quite tanned skin, so I applied the same foundation as I used because it made her look really white.  You could also use white face paint for this.  I then set it with a translucent powder to keep it in place and keep it as matte as possible.  I then took the black eyeshadow from my sleek palette, and messily packed that all around her eyes and then blended it out quite sloppily.  Zombie looks really don't have to be neat so anyone can do it! She wanted to apply some mascara, but you could easily go without for this look.  For the cut on her cheek, I just used some red lipstick and some black and purple eyeshadow and just played around with it until it looked how I wanted it.  For lips, she didn't want anything so I just put a little bit of foundation over them to make them look pale and lifeless!  It was so quick it literally took be about 5 minutes!

I hope you enjoyed this and it has helped some of you! If you recreate these looks or take inspiration, be sure to tweet me or instagram me a picture! All of my social media is linked in the social media page at the top of my blog!

The Sunday Edit #23

This week has been a bit hectic, as the end of term was vastly approaching, it was time to get our backsides into gear and make sure everything was finished in time!  Friday I had a revision workshop day and got to finish at 2:30, it was quite boring but Im hoping it will prove useful!

This weekend is our last weekend at the caravan, I can't believe the season is drawing to a close, it has flown by! We had the end of season party last night, which was halloween themed.  I was in charge of makeup and hair, and I am quite pleased about the outcomes! I posted some pictures on twitter so if you are interested, the link to my twitter is on my social media page (cheeky little plug in).  If you are interested in tutorials/pictorials, let me know because I would be more than happy to show you.  2/3 of them were so quick and easy, they are perfect for last minute halloween looks.

Today I have a lot of revision to do, some art stuff to finish off and I'm just going to go for a wander and make the most of my last day at the caravan until next March!

I hope you have all had a lovely week!

Rimmel 25 hour Lasting Finish Foundation | Review

This foundation has been very hyped up recently so I was desperate to put this to the test!  This foundation has 2 formulas, there is the nude version which is light-medium coverage (the one with the white lid) and a full coverage version which is the one I opted for.  Everywhere I looked, the lightest shade they had was ivory, so I stupidly bought it and it is way too dark for me! I have been mixing it with my mac studio fix to make it lighter which is perfect and in the summer months when I'm a bit more tanned, it should match me perfectly!

The consistency of this foundation is quite thick and almost gel like which is rather odd but I quite like it.  It contains a comfort serum which makes it glide onto the skin and feel light all day long.  The coverage that this foundation offers is phenomenal! I haven't worn concealer ever since I got it, just a small bit of anti-dark circle roller under my eyes for a subtle highlight.  It dries to a semi-matte finish, I always powder my foundation but you could easily go without if you don't have ridiculously oily skin like me.  The lasting power is about the same as my Mac Studio Fix, if not longer.  I don't feel the need to powder through the day and it looks pretty much the same as I applied it at about 3:00 which is almost unheard of for me because by that time, most other foundations would have literally fallen off my face and I'd be left with an oily, cakey mess.  I think this foundation is easily comparable to the Mac Studio Fix Fluid, the only difference being £15.52 in price!

Overall, I think this is an amazing product and I would recommend this to anyone, regardless of skin type! You can find it here for the measly price of £7.99!

The Drugstore Answer To Kylie Jenner Lips? ❤

Like pretty much every woman on the planet, I am searching for that perfect Kylie Jenner/90's lip.  Mac Velvet Teddy is perfect, but everyone is after that lipstick and its ridiculously hard to get your hands on, as well as having the pretty hefty price tag of £15.50.  I was browsing in boots the other day when I stumbled across this beauty.

The Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in the shade 'Heather Shimmer' is the perfect dupe for Velvet Teddy.  It is the perfect browney, pinky, mauvey nude and it looks good on pale skin as well which is always a bonus where I am concerned.  The formula of this lipstick is very creamy and moisturising.  The pigmentation is brilliant and it just glides on to the lips so easily and feels like a balm on the lips os it is extremely comfortable to wear.  The only down side is that it doesn't last as long as I would hope, but I find that it stays on if I wear a lip liner underneath and if I powder it.  That probably sounds strange, but if you apply your lipstick, put a tissue over your lips and dab powder onto the tissue, a small amount goes through the tissues onto your lips and sets them in place.

For the price of £6.49 I think this is definitely a good one to get if you are after the brown lip colour that is everywhere at the moment.  I also noticed that the Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in the shade '008' is also similar but slightly more pink but I am yet to purchase this one! The next time I visit boots, that one is definitely coming home with me as well!

What is your favourite lipstick to achieve the Kylie Jenner look? Are there any more I should try?

The Sunday Edit #22

I am feeling so halloweeny at the moment, I was walking round ASDA's halloween section yesterday and it was so hard to try and stop myself buying everything! I love this time of year, I love the fashion, the dark colours, halloween, the colder weather, everything!!

This weekend is out last proper weekend at the caravan before it closes for the end of the season next week.  I have got my costume in for the halloween themed end of season party next saturday, I am going as sévérine from sky fall, or just a creepy woman in general for those who don't know who she is.  I will be sad to leave the caravan until next march because I enjoy coming down here and I will miss all the lovely people we have met here, but at the same time I will be glad to have a break and to have free weekends to be more productive and try and get some more things done.  It is also 44 days until by 16th birthday so I am really excited for that as well!

This week has really been nothing out of the ordinary, just school and my mum frantically trying to make my dance costumes for dress rehearsal on Tuesday and the show starts next monday! I am a bit nervous but excited as well because the dance shows are always fun!

Postwise, I think this week could be fun! I may or may not have found some drugstore kylie jenner lipsticks (all will be revealed) and I am contemplating a DIY halloween costume, seeing as that is what I have done this year.  I am also waiting for a package of some new products to try and there will definitely be some first impressions and reviews coming on those.  Elf have added a whole new range of products to their website, and they have made 9 available to us british girls who have been dying to try this budget brand for a while! You can find them here if you are interested, but there will be whole post dedicated to this soon!

I hope you have all had a lovely week, what are you dressing up as for halloween and what are your plans?

Halloween Candle Wishlist ❤

Halloween Candle Wishlist

* Created on Polyvore

I don't know about you, but I absolutely love candles, especially at this time of the year.  I love how warm and cosy they make your room fill and how they fill it with a warm and seasonal aroma.  Here are the candles that are top of my wish list at the moment and some that I am just dying to get my hands on and burn to my hearts content!  I love how halloweeny they all are and they are the perfect halloween decorations for some more sophisticated decor, because lets face it, some decorations can be slightly on the tacky side! Let me know what your favourite way to decorate for halloween and what your favourite halloween themed candle is!

Drugstore Makeup Starter Kit ❤

When I first started getting in to makeup, I didn't really know what I needed and was unsure of which products I should opt for.  This post is aimed at helping those of you in a similar predicament, people who want to start wearing makeup and building up a kit, without spending a huge amount.

For starters, bases.  I don't think primers are absolutely necessary when starting a kit, however I do think a foundation or maybe a BB/CC Cream are important.  My favourite budget foundation is the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation.  At only £4.99 it is a absolute bargain and the formula is all I could ask for in a foundation. Weightless, smooth finish, easy to apply, not too dewy or too matte, blends seamlessly and has quite good lasting power and I love the wide shade range.  Anyone could find a shade to suit them in this range!  Next is concealer, now whilst this isn't a necessity, I couldn't be without it.  By now you should know that my all time favourite concealer is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and is probably one of the cheapest you could find.  I have also heard that this is similar to the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer so for just a fraction of the price, this is the perfect alternative.  To set all of that and keep your makeup looking fresh and lasting all day, I would opt for the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in a heart beat.  It makes my skin look flawless, masks those pesky pores and keeps shine at bay.

I always love to have a little something on my cheeks because foundation can tend to make your face look a bit flat.  I think the MUA Blusher in the shade 'Lolly' is the perfect colour to suit everyone all year round.  It makes you look like you are healthy and glowy without the need for a highlighter.  This blush also helps to define your cheekbones so bronzing isn't really necessary.

For eyes, I have chosen the Rimmel Under Cover Shadow Primer and whilst this isn't a necessity, it does make a huge difference to the longevity and the overall look of your shadows so if you are looking for a good, cheap eye primer, this is a good one to go for.  For eyeshadows, I think the best thing to go for would be a palette. I have chosen the MUA Undressed and Undress Me Too Palettes because they are very versatile and you can create anything from a very subtle and natural daytime look to a heavy and dramatic night time look.  They are great quality eyeshadows and are perfect for people who are just starting to use eyeshadow and want to experiment a bit!  If you are a fan of eyeliners, I would recommend starting off with a pencil.  They are a pretty fool-proof way to wear eyeliner because any mistakes can be rectified with a bit of blending.  My favourites at the moment are the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Liners as they are ridiculously cheap and easily comparable to the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils.  Lastly for eyes, mascara! I think this is a product that makes a huge difference to your whole entire makeup look and it is definitely something that I wouldn't skip! My all time favourite mascara is the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara and it is also the cheapest I own. I love that you can create quite fluffy, natural lashes and you can also create thick and dramatic lashes.  It is definitely a good starting point for those of you starting out with mascara and the small wand makes it so much easier to apply.

My favourite part, lips! I am most definitely a lip junkie and lipstick is definitely something I love to experiment with.  Balms are a great place to start if you don't want to rush straight in or are not really used to wearing makeup.  They give a hint of colour to your lips as well as keeping them in tip top condition.  My absolute favourites are the Maybelline Baby Lips or if you fancy something a little bit more intense,  the Electro Baby Lips are good to go for.  If you like to experiment with lip colours, but don't want to spend too much for fear of hating it and shoving it to the back of your drawer, MUA is the perfect brand for you.  They have so many different formulas and shades, there is something for  everyone and it is perfect to practice with and discover what sort of formulas and shades suit you the most.  I think MUA is brilliant quality and it is so cheap so yo should definitely check them out, along with Makeup Revolution which has proved to be a big hit in the beauty community!

I hope this has helped some of you, and let me know what products you would recommend to a makeup starter!

The Sunday Edit #21

I would like to star off again by apologising for no post on Wednesday! As I said yesterday in my NOTD post, I have been quite ill all week and wasn't able to post on Wednesday!

This week hasn't been brilliant, I've had a stinking cold, sore throat and pretty much everything has been bunged up, nose, ears, head and I have just felt pretty rubbish.  I took a day off school on Monday and stayed in bed all day but I had to go back on Tuesday because at this stage of the year, I can't really afford to miss any more school! I have spent most nights this week trying to catch up on what I missed and I have also been trying to desperately finish my art project as it is due in in 2 weeks!

Yesterday I had quite a productive day, I managed to do 4 recreations of my chosen artists work to go along with my research page, and I also managed to complete another research page.  Once I have done a few recreations from my research page, I am on to planning my final piece and just going back through my book and tidying things up.  I can't wait to finish this project and move on because we spent so long on it last year, and then our teacher left and messed us around so we have a lot of catching up to do this year!

We found out last night that the theme for this years end of season party at my caravan is halloween so I desperately trying to find a costume that I can get ready in 2 weeks! I am thinking that I may go as Berenice Marlohe from sky fall because her makeup and outfit are quite gothic and creepy and it would be quite a simple look to piece together.  I may do a whole makeup, hair and outfit post on this nearer the time!

I hope you have all had a lovely week!

NOTD #1 - Autumn Nails!

On the nails today is Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in the shade 'pomegranate'.  This is a very true red with slight pink undertones and it is perfect as a transitional shade from Summer to Autumn.  The formula is amazing as I would always expect from Barry M, a high shine gel like finish, easy application, amazing opacity (this was only one coat!) and long wearing chip resistant formula.  I absolutely love this colour and I think I will get a lot of wear out of it in the next couple of months!

I apologise for the fact that there wasn't a post on Wednesday because I was quite poorly so I hope this makes up for it!

The British Tag ❤

I am ridiculously British so it only seemed right that I did the British tag right?! I am a typical stereotypical British girl and I'm proud! Here are the questions......

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day and how many sugars?
I drink a lot of tea! I usually have about 3-4 cups on a school day and probably 4-5 on a weekend! I don't have any sugar because my mum would never let me have sugar in my tea when I was little and I just got used to it I suppose, I hate having sugar in my tea now.

2. Favourite part of your roast?

That is hard!! It's between the roast potatoes and the yorkshire puddings. I would probably say yorkshire puddings because I could literally eat platefuls of them just drenched in gravy........I'm hungry now.......

3. Favourite dunking biscuit?
I love maryland cookies and I love rich teas.  The only thing about rich teas is you have to be quick before they drop off and then you have to try and fish them out with a spoon!

4. Favourite quintessentially British pass time?

Probably just going out for a walk, whether this be down the beach, through the woods, wherever!

5. Favourite word?
Thingywingy - When you can't think of the name for something so you call it a thingywingy. For example, "can you please pass me the thingywingy" or "It's in the thingywingy"

6. Cockney rhyming slang?
Up the apples and pears - Up the stairs. It is something my dad always says!

7. Favourite sweet?
hmmm...... It's a close call between haribos and rhubarb and custard. I would probably say haribos, I'm not sure if they are british though?

8. What would your pub be called?

I would probably call it Little Em's just because it is personal to me and it is quite simple and catchy!

9. No.1 British person?

Probably Maggie Smith, I am a huge Downton Abbey fan!

10. Favourite shop/restaurant?

My favourite shop is probably Primark, purely for the fact its huge and I can always find something I like and it's really affordable.  My favourite restaurant is the little pub by my caravan as I have probably mentioned before.

11. What British song pops into your head?

Anything by the Beatles, they're amazing!

12. Marmite

I've never actually tried marmite is that bad?! I have tried the crisps before and they were ok but I can't really comment on marmite!

I tag you all to do this tag! If you have done it, link it in the comments so I can go and have a look and give you a follow!

The Sunday Edit #20

This week has been pretty boring, nothing exciting has really happened! I had my post 16 options evening on Tuesday and a careers fayre on Thursday so I have just been collecting prospectuses and leaflets and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life!

This weekend we have been at the caravan again, we only have 3 weeks left of the season so we are trying to make the most of it! It is starting to get really cold here now and yesterday I went out with jeans, a jumper, fluffy socks, boots a cardigan and a leather jacket just to go down to the shop! I'm not complaining though, I love the colder weather and I can't wait for hopefully some snow within the next couple of months!

I have quite a few autumn themed posts planned for the next couple of weeks and you have already seen my Autumn Beauty Edit where I gave you the lowdown on all my favourite autumn products.  I'm thinking of showing you my go-to autumn makeup routine and maybe some look books so let me know what you think of that!  As it is nearing the end of the season, we always have an end of season party on the last weekend. We are still waiting on the theme to be decided and the tickets to go on sale but I will maybe do an OOTN if the theme is something interesting. Last year it was black tie and evening wear and the year before was 70's so I have high hopes for this year!

I hope you have all had a lovely week and I will be back on Wednesday!

The Autumn Beauty Edit ❤

Autumn is my absolute favourite season, I love all the Autumnal colours and all of those spicy scents.   It is now officially Autumn, so I'm doing a round-up of all y favourite Autumn products and how I like to switch up my beauty products.

BASE// In the spring and summer, its all about those fresh, light and dewy bases.  In autumn and winter, I tend to go for something a little heavier and with more of a satin finish.  My go to autumn/winter foundation has to be my Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation because it has a lot more coverage and makes your face look absolutely flawless, whilst giving it the perfect satin (not dewy but not completely matte) finish which is what I love throughout the colder months.

CHEEKS// In autumn, I don't like to bronze up my skin too much because it can look a little bit summery, but I think a subtle contour helps to give you that really defined look, which I think looks perfect when you are wearing dark lips or smokey eyes.  My favourite product for this is Nars Laguna Bronzer because it works on all skin tones and adds the perfect amount of colour  When it comes to blush, the pinks and peaches have gone into hibernation and the reds and mauves are back out! My go to Autumn blushes for the past two years have been Sleek Rose Gold and NYX Desert Rose. They are more reddy shades and the sleek one has a gold sheen running through it which is perfect!

EYES// In autumn, I love to go for goldy/bronzy/coppery smokey eyes. For a base or on its own on lazy days, the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze is my absolute favourite autumn cream shadow. It stays on all day and can be work in so many different ways.  If you are looking for a cheap way to experiment with some more autumnal colours, then the MUA Undressed Palette and the MUA Undress Me Too Palette are definitely for you! These palettes contain a range of stunning autumnal shades and they are practically a steal for £4 each!

LIPS// My absolute favourite thing about autumn is cracking out the dark lips! My all time favourite autumn lipstick is Mac Plumful because it is dark, yet subtle and I love berry tones in Autumn.  Last year, I was obsessed with the Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Eclipse which is a very dark vampy red and it is amazing if you want to go all out! Seeing as matte lips are so on trend right now, the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Reckless is the perfect affordable option.

NAILS// I love autumn nails, I think the dark shades are so sophisticated and classy, I can't get enough of them! My all time favourite autumn polish is China Glaze Ruby Pumps which is a glittery red wine shade and I wore the hell out of it last year for about 4 months straight!  I really like classic cream red shades, my personal favourites being Barry M Gelly Polish in Pomegranate which is just straight up red, and for more of a darker browny shade, Nails Inc Victoria is perfect!  The trend this year is metallic, so my two favourites are Essie's Trophy Wife which is a gorgeous dark metallic green, and to fit the goldy theme going on with my eyes, Nails Inc Regent Street Lights which is no longer available sadly, but Mortimer Street is very similar and is on sale for £5!

That concludes my autumn beauty edit, let me know what your favourite autumn beauty picks are!

September Favourites 2014 ❤

We have come to the end of another month and believe it or not the end of summer!  I have had quite a busy month with going back to school and I haven't really had a chance to try out a whole load of new products.  Makeup-wise, I've worn barely any throughout the week and at weekends I have just worn something quite simple and I have stuck to the products that I know work for me and my skin.  I have managed to round up just a few products that I have been reaching for the most this month, some old favourites and some new!

As mentioned in my Skincare Routine Post, I have been using the Avon Clearskin Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask twice a week since I got it at the beginning of the month. Watching it go from black to white and cling to all the gunk in your pores is weirdly satisfying and the results are fabulous! I have noticed that my pores have shrunk, the amount of black heads on my t-zone are visibly minimised and my skin looks a lot clearer and healthier. You do have to really scrub to get it off but this acts as an exfoliant so saves me a step in my skincare routine throughout the week and makes my skin look and feel even better.  I paid £2 for this which is an absolute steal so I definitely recommend this to people who want to try the Origins one but don't feel like parting with £23!

The next product is my Ebay Makeup Brushes.  I have written a whole review on them here where I sing their praises, these are by far some of the best makeup brushes I have ever used.  They are amazing quality and the price is brilliant as well.  They blend everything so effortlessly and there is no malting at all, even when you wash them! I definitely recommend these if you are looking for some bargain brushes!

Onto makeup, the first product that really stood out to me this month is the Seventeen Falsifeye hd Mascara.  I heard Fleurdeforce raving about it in her August favourites and her lashes always look amazing so I had to go and get me some of this magical stuff! If you are looking for a drugstore dupe for They're Real, this is your best bet.  It lengthens, it separates, it volumises, its an all round brilliant product! The only thing I'm not a massive fan of is the fact that it smudges underneath my eyes but I get the same problem with all non-waterproof mascaras so I am willing to overlook that!

My next favourite has been my NYX Powder Blushes. I used the shade peach a lot at the beginning of the month and I have gradually been easing into Desert Rose because this is a lot more Autumn appropriate. The formula of these are perfect, they aren't too pigmented so that you have huge stripes across your cheeks, resembling some sort of warrior princess, but they aren't so sheer that they leave barely any colour on you cheeks and make you look dead.  They are just right!  They are only £6 each which is a bargain so get yourself down to your local next and give them a swatch.  Don't be fooled by the slightly cheap looking (in my opinion) packaging!

The last favourite is an oldie but a goodie! I was absolutely obsessed with my Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me last summer and somehow it got shoved in a drawer and forgot about until I went back to school. I was looking for something that I could throw on, would make me look a little bit healthier, keep my lips in good condition and look natural enough to wear to school and I suddenly remembered this!  I have used this every single day this month and it is just the perfect lip balm to throw on wherever you are and it will look fine, it makes you look a little more done up and like you tried a bit harder!

That is it for this month, hopefully next month will bring some more new and exciting products to try out!
